All Stars:

Being selected for an All-Star/Tournament Team is an honor and requires a commitment to fellow teammates. All All-Stars/Tournament team candidates and parents must meet the following availability criteria, or they cannot participate in a District 12 All-Star tournament/tournament team. The league provides a jersey and hat, but there will be a few expenses per player that will need to happen as a part of participation (i.e. lawn signs, team socks, coaches' gifts, etc.)

Availability: Consistent practice is the cornerstone of our success. To ensure the All-Star/Tournament team is fully prepared, every selected player must be available for and attend all practices and games. Both players and parents need to acknowledge and commit to this requirement. Practices: All players chosen for an All-Star/Tournament team are expected to:
● Be available for daily practices throughout the designated practice-and-game period.
● Attend all scheduled games.
● Respect that the head coach (manager) will set specific dates and times for practices.
● Obtain prior approval from the team manager for any missed practice.

By accepting a roster spot, both player and parent agree to honor this commitment.

All players selected for a tournament team must remain available for the entire duration of their team’s postseason run (e.g., Districts, Sectionals, Regionals, etc.).
● Continuous Availability: Your commitment extends as long as the team continues to advance.
● Attendance Enforcement: If a player accrues repeated, unapproved absences from either practices or games, the Manager may recommend removal from the roster.
● Approval Process: Any disqualification must be ratified by the Board of Directors.
● Extenuating Circumstances: The Manager and the Board will review and may excuse absences for legitimate, documented reasons

Parent Commitment to Volunteering:
Parents must volunteer during the tournament season, or their player/s cannot participate. Hosting local All-Star Tournaments is mandatory for every league in Little League International. Parents of selected players are responsible for volunteering at these tournaments to make the system work. Below are the dates for the tournaments we will host. A sign-up genius will be sent closer to the specific tournament with specific volunteer slots and needs. You must be available for at least two of these dates; otherwise, your player will not be eligible for the All-Stars. In addition, if you commit to doing these two shifts (per player in your family participating) and do not fulfill your commitment, at the end of the tournaments, your CPLL account will be invoiced $500 per player, which must be paid before you are available to register your player for another season.
